WIC WEEK FOOD DRIVE
All week long we will be collecting items at each event location.

Monday, March 2nd | 11:30 - 1:00
Located at 3030 NicolletAvenue in Minneapolis, this site is deep in Minneapolis and Nicollet Avenue history. Many locals still refer to this location as the home of the minor league Minneapolis Millers (or Nicollet Park). More recently, Opportunity Crossing replaces a former Wells Fargo branch that was destroyed during the 2020 civil unrest. Today, the site stands as a symbol of resilience and reinvestment, aimed to support individuals and families with lower incomes through housing stability, economic opportunity, and community-centered development.
Join us for a networking lunch and tour, hosted by the General Contractor on this project, Weis Builders.

Co-presented by SMPS Twin Cities and NAWIC Minneapolis–St. Paul, in celebration of Women in
Construction (WIC) Week, this special event will explore practical strategies for building a more cohesive culture within A/E/C professional services.
Wednesday, March 4th | 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Come join our project team and Rosies & Robbies from all over the industry for a dynamic discussion focused on the power of relationships. We’ll share experiences about how strong connections can make or break a project, a team, or a reputation. With voices from every corner of the industry, we’ll talk about how trust,
communication, and teamwork are as vital as the concrete and steel we use.
You will leave the round table encouraged that these connections can help every challenge become a chance to grow together and empowered about opening doors you hadn’t even thought of yet!
